I’ve created some calculators to help with the math in your pattern templates. These not only help make the math simpler, but as my understanding of sweater fit gets more refined, these calculators will help you improve fit.
Raglan Sleeve Cap Calculator
Since the final edit of The Knitter’s Sweater Fitting Bible, I have learned more about how to fit raglan sleeve caps and armholes. This Raglan Sleeve Cap Calculator simplifies the math, and results in a better fitting sleeve cap than the template in my book!
- Save a copy on your computer so that you always have a fresh version to copy for your next sweater
- When using the calculator for a new sweater, make a copy and save it with your sweater’s name
- All 3 versions of the calculator have 3 tabs: instructions, inches, and metric. “Instructions” guides you through using the calculator, “inches” calculates all numbers in inches, and “metric/cm” in centimetres
